The Bellwood-Antis/Tyrone girls’ soccer team lost 8-0 to Richland yesterday in Tyrone.  This game was the final game of a rough season for the team, which finished 2-11.

The girls will be looking to use this season as motivation for the offseason.

“It was a really rough season, and hopefully next year we can do a lot better,” said sophomore Riley D’Angelo, the team’s leading scorer.

Next year may be different for the girls as D’Angelo and freshman Jadyn Shuke, two starters on the team from Bellwood-Antis, will only get better as they get older.

On top of that, there were five games this year that Tyrone/B-A lost by a two-point margin.

This means that with experience the girls may start winning those close games fast in 2017.
