Last Thursday the Blue Devil wrestling team was back in action as they looked for a big bounce back win from a tough loss on Wednesday night to rival Tyrone.

B-A manhandled the Tussey Mountain Titans en route to a 53-21 win, picking up six pins and a couple major decision victories.

Trentin Whaley, Colton Gorrity, Noah Schratzmeier, Ryan Kerns, Derrick Noonan, and Malacki Harper all presented their opponents with a view of the middle school gymnasium roof, accounting for the six pins.

Kaylob Tatsch shredded his opponent in a 16-1 tech fall at 132 pounds. Collin Yonker and Bailey Kudlawiec had an easy night as they each picked up forfeit victories to help seal the deal.

“We came out and wrestled a lot better. It was a pretty good momentum boost and confidence builder to gain back from the night before,” said  Kudlawiec.

Thursday’s win improves B-A to 4-7 on the year. The Blue Devils look to keep improving as they inch closer to post-season matches.
