The Blue Devil baseball team was on a mission yesterday, closing out a game on the road in five innings, beating Moshannon Valley 10-0.

Ace pitcher Nevin Wood was bringing the heat on the bump, striking out 10 batters and only giving up two hits all game.

B-A had its bats in full swing once Joe Padula ripped a double, in the third, and inning when the Devils scored three runs. Trent Walker and Travis Luensmann each collected two hits for B-A, adding to the offensive clinic.

Freshman Troy Walker knocked in the winning run in the fifth inning to reach the 10-run mark for B-A.

The Devils will need to bring the intensity the rest of the week as they face off against Mount Union.
