B-A+Girls+Win+ICC+Title

The Bellwood-Antis girls’ track and field team captured the ICC North championship April 24, 2014 at the Memorial Stadium by beating Mt. Union (133.3-15.5) They also beat Tyrone (99-50) in the double dual meet. The Lady Blue Devils are 14-1.

Ellen Crook (800-, 1600- and 3200-runs) led a balanced attack with three first-place finishes for the Lady Blue Devils. Bailey Swogger placed first in the 100 dash and second in the 200 dash. Marissa Panasiti placed third in the 100 dash, third in the 200 dash, and first in the 400 dash. Alayna Roberts placed first in the 100 hurdles and second in the 300 hurdles. Elizabeth Whaley placed third in the 1600 run and first in the 3200 relay. Reagan Plowman placed third in the 800 run and placed first in the 3200 relay. Christina Degol placed third in high jump and second in long jump. Megan Martin placed second in high jump and first in pole vault. Selena Damiano placed second in shot put and first in discus.
