Mariah Younker: Just Juniors
She’s a concert fanatic, a social media addict, and a Netflix junkie.
It’s Mariah Younker as this month’s feature in the BluePrint’s “Just Juniors” column.
As she is nearing the end of her junior year at Bellwood-Antis, Mariah says that she is very ready to be a senior and move on with her life.
“When I’m not slaving over my school work, I typically try to take on DIYs I find on YouTube. I guess I’m sort of crafty,” she said.
This year, her favorite class is Spanish 3, along with her favorite teacher, Senora Smith because it is different from her other classes.
According to Mariah, the best thing about Bellwood-Antis is the ability to take college classes.
“It seems like a lot of work now, but I know it will pay off in the long run both financially and timely,” she said.
The biggest accomplishments Mariah has had her junior year is being accepted into NHS and surviving AP Lit.
But if you think you know a lot about Mariah; think again.
Younker told the BluePrint that one thing people don’t know about her is that she is a major concert junkie.
“I’ve been to four major concerts and I am going to three more this summer. I’ve seen Miley Cyrus, before she flew off the handle, 5 Seconds of Summer, and One Direction,” said Mariah. “Actually, I have third row VIP seats to see One Direction this summer with Edyn.”
