West Branch found that out first-hand last week.

I’ve been playing soccer pretty much since I could walk.

D’Angelo scored four goals in a 5-2 win over the Lady Warriors, with the help of her teammates.

Riley has been selected as the BluePrint’s athlete of the week. Along with Soccer, Riley also plays basketball and runs track.

Riley has been playing soccer since she was very young.

“I’ve been playing soccer pretty much since I could walk,” she said “My brother played and my dad was a coach.”

As a personal goal, Riley would like to be a Mountain League star again. As for her team, she would like to reach district finals.

Soccer and her team are very important to Riley.

“I love being on a team and I love the sport itself,”  she said.

To make sure she keeps improving, Riley practices in the off-season, and she plays in spring leagues.
