Devils dominate West Branch in ICC clash

Last night the varsity boys’ basketball squad won over West Branch 70-48 at the Bellwood-Antis High School gymnasium.
Senior Joe Paudla led the Blue Devils in scoring with 23 points, while junior Trent Walker poured in 20. Senior Jarrett Taneyhil finished his night with 11.
The end of the third quarter is when the Devils really took off, building a 20 point margin for the West Branch to work back from.
This game was also the game when Senor Brandon Bickle suited up for the varsity.
Brandon is the team manager, and varsity Coach Brent Gerwert had been planning to give Brandon an opportunity to play for a while..
Brandon had two points and eventually scored a layup off a dish from Joe Padula and the fourth.
The first quarter was up and down action, with B-A outscoring West Branch 20-8.
