Students can access an online song request form using their iPad.

The Bellwood-Antis Middle School Tech Club has gone digital with its song requests for the morning announcements program. Just recently they updated the process from using a song request box to a digital song request form made using Google Forms.

Google Forms is one of the tools available from the Google Docs collection. It can be used to help plan events, send a survey, give students a quiz, or collect other information. The form request is located online and students and teachers can request up to three songs on each form.

To get to the Google form, students have to use the QR Reader app that is located on their iPad to scan the barcode on the sign that is outside of the middle school studio. After a student fills out the form, their answers go directly to a Google Spreadsheet. Once the request is found in the spreadsheet, Tech Club can make playing the songs happen! Requests are played each morning from 7:50-8:00.

So, if there’s a song that you’d like to hear on the Bellwood Buzz, make sure you visit Room 23 to complete the request form!
