SPORTS ROUNDUP: XC teams win, soccer loses

Bellwood’s boys and girls cross country team swept another victory yesterday, defeating Glendale and West Branch in a home meet.
Jenna Bartlett took first overall for the girls, while Dan Kustaborder was the top finisher on the boys side.
THE cross country team is having a great season this year with a 3-0 record.
SOCCER
The Tyrone Co-op boys’ soccer team took a tough loss in a Mountain League game against Bellefonte.
The boys allowed two early goals and tried hang in there, but eventually Bellefonte puts up another two goals in the final 10 minutes.
The team’s record evened at 1-1.
