We recently had the chance to interview students from Myers Elementary, Avery Bardell and Ella Fieni. We asked their opinions about what it’s like to be a students in third grade. Here’s what they had to say:

Q1: What is your favorite thing about third grade?
Avery: I really like science class.
Ella: I like specials a lot.

Q2: Do you get a lot of homework or projects in third grade?
Avery: No. We don’t get any homework.
Ella: No. There is no homework in this grade.

Q3: What is your favorite subject?
Avery: Science.
Ella: Math.

Q4: What is your favorite thing about your class?
Avery: ClassCraft with Mrs. Bouslough.
Ella: My teacher is really nice and gives free candy.

Q5: Who is your best friend?
Avery: Brady Crist.
Ella: Lily Burns.

Q6: Do you enjoy having lockers?
Avery: Yes.
Ella: Yes.

Q7: Is your locker messy?
Avery: No.
Ella: Yes.

Q8: What is your favorite special?
Avery: Gym.
Ella: Gym.

Q9: Do you like using iPads?
Avery: Yes.
Ella: Yes.

Q10: Do you enjoy the new pieces of furniture (flexible seating) in your room, or do you miss having desks?
Avery: I really don’t like desks.
Ella: Both.
