I’m not a huge fan of some of the movies coming out this year, but it would be wrong of to make a list like this biased, so I will be doing this on a general basis.
X-Men: Dark Phoenix
I’m not a huge fan of Marvel, but this does look interesting. Many people have been hyping this and I see why. Sophie Turner (Jean Grey) looks like she is going to deliver an amazing performance. Sophie has been in a handful of decent parts including Game of Thrones.
Zombieland: Double Tap
First, the name of the second movie is hilarious if you have seen the first movie. Following the rules from the first movie, they called it Double Tap. Zombieland was a classic and a lot of people agree. With a 90% on Rotten Tomatoes and an 80% in IMDB, it was a highly -rated movie to watch. I have high hopes for the second movie.
Joker
This follows the origin of The Killing Joke. Joaquin Phoenix takes on the role of Arthur Flek, aka the Joker, and looks like he will be amazing. Seeing as how Joker is one of the most infamous villains, this is one of the most anticipates movies. It’s interesting to me because you don’t really see movies based on villains, so it is refreshing.
