After a team-defining win at Tussey Mountain, the Blue Devils prepare to finish their perfect 10-0 season, as they play host to Southern Huntington this Friday night. As the Devil’s offense and defense continue to improve, their final regular season game this Friday night is shaping up to be their most dominant.

Leader of blue and gold, senior Trevor Miller quoted “An undefeated season has been one of goals on the season, every Friday night we become a better team, and our final game this week will be a complete performance.”

Another playmaker in the Devil arsenal is senior Troy Walker, who had a forced fumble, and received for 39 yards on 2 catches, had to say this in preparing for Friday night’s game “We come into every week thinking like its our state championship, and it just so happened that Tussey Mountain was also undefeated. “We try to not focus on WHO we play, but HOW we play, and every game is important.”

The incoming opponent, the Rockets of Southern Huntington are coming off a 32-29 loss against Claysburg-Kimmel. Overall on the season, their record is 4-5, but their seasons stats are nothing to scoff at. They have totaled for 29 touchdowns, backed by an average of 173.5 receiving yards, and 136.6 rushing yards per game. The Rocket defense has also had a strong season, putting up 5 sacks and 7 interceptions.

The finale for the Devils will becoming reality on Friday night, with their sights on a perfect 10 regular season, they look to put on for their town in one last dance.
