Last night the Lady Blue Devils volleyball team sadly ended their season with a tough loss to Central Cambria in the second round of playoffs.

Coming off of a good team win in the first round the Lady Blue Devils looked to keep the ball rolling, but unfortunately they fell short.

Senior, Sakeria Haralson had five kills, and six blocks for the Lady Blue Devils, and Sydney Lechner recorded 14 assists.

The girls finished their season at .500, with a record of (10-10).

“Making it to the playoffs was a goal that we set at the beginning of the season as a team, and we accomplished that goal as a team,” said senior Sakeria Haralson. Sakeria is not only a standout player on the volleyball court, but on the basketball court as well. This coming basketball season Sakeria and the rest of the Lady Blue Devils hope to get a chance at a third state title!

The Blueprint wishes Sakeria and the rest of the volleyball players the best of luck in their upcoming winter and spring sports.
