Lindsay hopes to play college basketball and make it to the WNBA some day.

We had the chance to catch up with sixth grader Lindsay Campbell earlier this week so we could talk to about her sports life and future. Read on to find out more about this BAMS athlete…

Q1: What sports do you play?

A: Basketball and volleyball.

Q2: What is your number.

A: 33.

Q3: Does your number have any value to you?

A: No.

Q4: Why do you continue to play your sports?

A:  I have a very strong passion and enjoy playing them.

Q5: Who is your favorite professional athlete?

A: LeBron James.

Q6: What coach inspires you the most?

A: Muffet McGraw.

Q7: What is your favorite sport to watch?

A: Women’s college basketball.

Q8: How long have you played sports?

A: Seven years.

Q9: What do you enjoy most about your sport?

A: Being able to make memories with my friends and teammates.

Q10: Who motivates you the most?

A: My sister Alli Campbell.

Q11: What are your future goals?

A: To play college basketball and make it to the WNBA.

Q12: What are your goals do you hope to achieve this season?

A: I hope to win every championship in our leagues.

Q13: What are your areas of improvement?

A: Speed.

Q14: What are your strengths?

A: Shooting and dribbling. 

Q15: Do you have any superstitions? If yes, what are they?

A: No.

Q16: If you would somehow get hurt, what would keep you motivated? 

A: Being able to get back to playing with my teammates.

Q17: How do you contribute to the team?

A: I go to every practice and give 100%.

Q18: Do you get down on yourself if you make a mistake?

A: Yes.

Q19: Do you get nervous under pressure? If so, why?

A: Yes, because if I make a mistake, I wouldn’t forget about it and most likely do it again.

Q20: How many hours a week do you work on your game outside of practice?

A: About one hour.
