These 5th graders are adjusting to life in the middle school.

Do you remember when you were terrified about going from Myers Elementary to the middle school? It wasn’t just going to a new building. Fifth graders also have to deal with new friends, new people, new teachers and a new way of doing school. We recently interviewed four 5th graders—Lauren Marinak, Bradyn Partner, Connor Mayes, and Emma Miller—to see how their first middle school year is going so far. We asked four questions per student. Read on to find out what they prefer and what they thought about moving into a new school.
