On Friday, December 13, the BAMS National Junior Honor Society hosted a Present Under the Tree Dance in an effort to help a community members in need during the holiday season. To attend this event, students were required to bring two can goods or a new unwrapped toy as their price of admission. The 5th and 6th graders attended from 7-8:30 p.m. followed by the 7th and 8th graders from 7:30-10 p.m. Snacks and refreshments were sold. All proceeds went to the NJHS, and they passed these donations along to the Bellwood Council of Churches. This organization created Christmas baskets for 12 local families.

Thank you to everyone who attended the dance and helped to make the holidays a little brighter for those in need!
