Fifth grade students enjoying the annual Christmas dinner.

Before the holiday break, the Bellwood-Antis Middle School held its annual Christmas dinner in which the students dress up for the occasion. Grades 5-8 participate in this activity. The time of each lunch period was changed so that each group of students could eat with just their own grade level.

Mr. Trexler and several volunteer moms from the P.T.O. decorated all of the tables with candles and fresh greens, and the glass windows were painted by Mrs. Bickel as a way to add to  the Christmas festivities. They also played music giving the students a more authentic experience.

This year’s luncheon was paid for by the Bellwood-Antis School District Foundation so all students and teachers were able to eat free of charge. A special shout out goes to the Foundation for this generous donation.

Everyone looked great for the event. We will be looking forward to our next luncheon where we get the chance to dress up again!
