Due to COVID-19 restrictions, Mini-THON events will probably not happen this year, at least not to the extent they have over the last three years, but that doesn’t mean the group won’t be raising money for Four Diamonds and the fight against childhood cancer.

Advisor Mr. Matthew McNaul is planning on hosting several fundraisers this year, with the first one being a Gardner’s Peanut Butter Meltaway sale.

“Since most of our other fundraisers are cancelled, candy sales and other similar fundraisers will make up the most of our fundraising effort,” Mr. McNaul said.  “And, with no event, we think Donor Drive totals will be small.”

Students can sign in front of Mr.McNauls room using the QR code and help families fighting childhood cancer.

Mr. McNaul said Mini-THON will have to be creative this year to raise funds without its biggest event, namely the THON day and dance held annually at BAHS.

“Since spectators will be allowed at sporting events, we might have the opportunity to can,” he said.  “Canning was huge last year.  We raised more than $3,500 at various sporting events.”
