You might think she’s quiet, but if you do you’re wrong about this freshman gymnast and cheerleader.

You might’ve seen freshman Alexis Gerwert roaming around school, but outside of school she’s cheering on the junior high football team!

Alexis is quiet at first, but once you get to know her she doesn’t stop talking.

She was selected for this month’s Fab Freshmen feature.

The BluePrint: What’s the biggest difference between 9th grade and middle school?

Alexis: You don’t get as many textbooks.

The BluePrint: What class from freshman year will you never forget and why?

Alexis: Mrs. Carney’s geometry class because of the seniors.

The BluePrint: What goals do you have for the next 3 years of your B-A experience?

Alexis: Prepare for college.

The BluePrint: What advice would you give 8th graders preparing to make the jump to high school?

Alexis: Do your homework.

Favorite Movie: Forest Gump.

Favorite Class: Geometry.

Favorite Food: Watermelon & Cookies.

Favorite BA lunch: Salads, but nothing really because the food sucks.

Favorite song: Waves by Mr. Probz.

What do you do with your free time after school: Gymnastics and Cheerleading.
