The B-A junior high team has been dominant all year. They have averaged 41 points per game this season, while giving up just 6 points.

Outstanding numbers like those led the team to a perfect 9-0 record and another ICC championship.

Head coach Charlie Burch praised the team saying, “This was a really fun season to coach and great kids to work with!”

In spite of the many blowouts on the team’s ledger, Coach Burch felt the competition this season was good.

“They made it look easy for the most part this season and I feel the ICC had some strong teams,” he said.

This marks the 8th ICC title out of the last 10 years for the junior high program, and out of Burch’s 25 seasons as head coach this was his 12th undefeated season. Over the 25 years he has coached he has an overall record of 182-29-4.

The junior high team is poised for success next year as they return key pieces from this year’s ICC championship team.

Coach Burch looks to repeat next season saying, “We will savor this season and then hit the weight room in late February and try to do this all over again in 2022.”
