The Tyrone/Bellwood-Antis soccer team had its third game of the season yesterday in Tyrone. The Lady Eagles played Penns Valley Area and suffered a close 2-1 loss.

After a scoreless first half, Chloe LaRosa scored the first goal of the game in the second half on an assist from Riley Andrews to take a 1-0 lead. Valley later tied the score, and then got the game-winner with about five minutes left to play.

The girls soccer team is now 1-2 and they are getting ready to play Philipsburg-Osceola next Tuesday.

BOYS SOCCER FALLS ON THE ROAD

The boys soccer team played last night and lost 3-1 to Penns Valley in Spring Mills. The team is 0-2 and their next game is against Philipsburg-Osceola next Monday.

Although the boys team has lost their three games this season, they have been improving. Last year the team went 0-14 and scored a total of 2 goals. The Eagles’ games this year have been much closer and every game the team has been improving.

VOLLEYBALL STAYS UNBEATEN

The B-A volleyball team got another win last night over Curwensville. The team swept the Golden Tide 3-0 and now are preparing to take on Everett next Monday.

The three varsity seniors had control of the entire game last night. Brielle Campbell, Hailee McConnell, and Lydia Worthing each had  impressive performances.

The team is now 4-0 and have the top spot in the ICC.
