Do you and your family have nothing to on the night of October 25? Come on down to the Bellwood-Antis High School for a Safe Trick-or-Treat event held by the Renaissance Club.

The event will begin at 7:00 PM, after the Excelsior Fire Dept. parade.

Safe trick-or-treat night is an event where kids can come to the high school in their costumes and walk the halls, going to different classrooms. In these classrooms, there will be candy and activities for kids to participate in, with each one sponsored by a different club or activity from the school.

The first Safe Trick-or-Treat was held in 2019.

The price to participate is $2.00 a kid or $7.00 a student.

Mrs. Allison Stinson, the Renaissance advisor, says, “It is my hope that there will be so many fun activities for the kids to participate in.”

This annual event had to be canceled due to the weather last year, so it has been a couple of years since Renaissance has been able to host it.

This event will be held in memory of Maddie Shura, a Myers Elementary student who passed in 2018 due to cancer. The proceeds will benefit the family of Zayne Buoymaster, an almost-3-year-old from Tipton who is currently battling cancer.

Thanks to the Renaissance Club and best wishes to the Shuras and Buoymasters.
