The Tyrone/Bellwood-Antis girls soccer team snapped a 4 game losing streak at home on Monday, tying the Penns Valley Lady Rams 1-1.
This is a boost for the Lady Eagles after losing 4 straight to start the season.
The team had a tuff time trying to score in the first half, barely getting on the Lady Rams’ side of the field. But the Rams had no problem scoring early in the half going up 1-0. That was all the scoring in the first half.
In the second half there wasn’t any scoring until B-A senior Briley Campbell scored the tying goal, ultimately sending the game into overtime.
The game couldn’t be settled with the extra time and ended in a draw.
Lets see if the Tyrone/Bellwood-antis team can keep this up there next game is home versus the Huntington Bearcats.
