The Bellwood-Antis School District is once again dedicating its Homecoming football game to Sideline Cancer.
The game will take place September 27th at home against Philipsburg-Osceola.
Last year’s game, with the help of Homecoming opponent Bishop Guilfoyle, raised a total of nearly $5,500 to support Bellwood community member, Melody Plummer. This year’s game, the Sideline Cancer Game funds will be spilt between Trisha Beeler and Lacey Hanna, both whom live in the Bellwood community and are battling cancer.
“For the past 3 years, we have coupled our Sideline Cancer game with our Homecoming events,” said Homecoming organizer Mrs. Allison Stinson. “The idea is that we can all come together for a common cause and help a B-A family that is going through one of life’s toughest battles helps put into perspective what truly matters. Our motto of ‘Bigger than the Crown’ continues to be something that our entire school and local community rally around and the results are truly amazing.”
