Tonight the Bellwood-Antis Lady Blue Devils open defense of their District 6-AA title with a second-round match-up against Southern Huntingdon at the Hollidaysburg Jr. High at 6 p.m.  The No. 2 overall seed, B-A is 22-1, the winners of 21 straight and the ICC champion.  Southern in 12-7 and playing from the 7-seed.

1. Talk on defense

Communicating gives us better tempo and we’re able to then push the basketball.

2. Capitalize on offensive opportunities

We’re pretty sure they’re going to play us in a zone, so we have to make open shots.

3. Box out and rebound

When we control the boards, we are able to run in transition.
