Have you ever imagined being able to combine your love for dance with your school spirit? For Miss Poplin, that’s now a reality! When Miss Poplin moved from teaching high school to middle school, she brought a lot of new ideas with her. Not only does she teach English and Reading, but she also started the first-ever dance team at our school.
“At the end of last year, I was a little bit sad to be leaving high school, but I adjusted to middle school quickly.” Miss Poplin enjoys 7th grade because “it has a great team of teachers and the students are really easy to connect with.”
Miss Poplin is in the dance studio 6 hours a week. When she’s not at the studio, she’s at school teaching. She said, “7th graders are old enough to be independent, but still have a lot of enthusiasm.”
