Mrs. Trexler’s favorite thing about teaching is the opportunity to expose children to different genres of literature.
“I especially enjoy when students develop a love for reading and express their personal connection or understanding of the author’s intention!” she said.
Mrs. Trexler is married to Tim Trexler, who taught at BA for more than 30 years before retiring in 2023.
”Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family. We love to travel, hike, and see the beauty in God’s creation. I also love to read and listen to music,” said Mrs. Trexler.
Many students that are a part of ‘In the Middle’ express an interest in continuing their love of writing for the BluePrint, if it fits in their high school schedule, which is something Mrs. Trexler is proud of. But she is popular among all middle school students.
“She is my favorite teacher. I like how she is nice and cares and she always makes others feel welcome in her classroom,” said Mia Coho.
