On Tuesday, six Bellwood-Antis athletes who plan on playing sports at the collegiate level had the opportunity to publicly sign their letters of intent.
The district held a signing ceremony after school in the high school gymnasium.
This ceremony gave each athlete a time to celebrate their signings with family and friends. Every athlete sat at the table and got pictures with the people who came to support them. They also took a group photo of their signing and one with everyone in attendance.
The following athletes were present to the sign:
- Johanna Heckman – Volleyball – PSU-Altoona
- Ava Patton – Volleyball – Mount Aloysius College
- Addy Turek – Volleyball/Track & Field – Clarion University
- Leigha Clapper – Basketball/Golf – Waynesburg University
- Briley Campbell – Soccer – Messiah University
- Avah Hassler – Track & Field – Slippery Rock

Due to a scheduling conflict with a baseball game, two athletes will be observing their signing opportunity at a later date.
