On Monday, Bellwood-Antis held its annual scholarship awards ceremony in the gym.
B-A seniors were awarded of in excess of $90,000 in scholarships, mostly provided by local businesses.
Lilliana Hardman was the big winner, taking home almost $5,000 in scholarships, including the prestigious Bruno DeGol Sr. Memorial Scholarship, which alone is worth $4,000.
Class Salutatorian Jenna Norton was another, earning three scholarships that exceeded over $3,000. Co-Salutatorian Holden Schreier was over $3,000 as well.
“I feel incredibly grateful and relieved to see my four years of dedication to my academics and community pay off,” said Hardman. “These scholarships will be tremendously valuable to my college education, especially with the cost of college on the rise”
