Boys soccer drops fifth loss of season against Penns Valley
Penns Valley shut out the Tyrone/Bellwood-Antis boys soccer team 2-0 in Spring Mills on Monday, getting .t goals from Leo Martin Villanueva and Finnegan Quigley.
With this loss the boys are ranked third in District 6 with a record of 9-5-0 and they have just four games left: Huntingdon (away), Westmont Hilltop (Home), Philipsburg Osceola (Home), and Hollidaysburg (Home).
The Boy’s next game is October 8, at Huntingdon at 6.
Penn Cambria beats Bellwood-Antis volleyball
Penn Cambria swept Bellwood-Antis last night in Cresson, winning 25-22, 25-7, and 25-18, behind 18 kills from Lily Gergely.
B-A had gone into the game on a high, registering a 3-2 victory over Chestnut Ridge last Thursday in the team’s Pink Out game.
The loss to the Lady Panthers dropped the lady Devils to 2-13. They will next play at Central at 7.
