During Westmont Hilltop’s “Teal Out” game Saturday in Westmont, the Tyrone/Bellwood-Antis Boys soccer team shut out the Hilltoppers 1-0.
This is first time Westmont was shutout by any team this season. Before playing the Eagles, the Hilltoppers were 12-1-1.
Scoring for the Eagles during this physical game was Tyrone junior Grant Miller.
During the Tyrone/Bellwood-Antis Senior Night against Philipsburg-Osceola, the Eagles got another shutout victory, winning 10-0.
Senior goalie Devon Nardelli earned the shutout, and Tyrone senior Rowan Moore scored 2 of the 10 goals for the Eagles.
The rest of the goals for the Eagles by Tyrone were netted by sophomore and Junior Gavin Tuskivich, and Tuytus Novak, and Bellwood-Antis junior Noah Gulvas
Girls soccer go 2-3 over last 5 games
During the Tyrone/Bellwood-Antis girls soccer team has went 2-3 over the last 5 games whom were; Penns Valley 1-1 , Huntingdon 2-0, Westmont Hilltop 1-3, Conemaugh Township 2-1, and Philipsburg-Osceola 6-0.
With the 2-3 record the last 5 games, the girls are 5-10-2 and are in locked in for 4 place and are going to playoffs.
They will being playing second place Bellefonte who are 10-5 and have played 2 less games then the Lady Eagles, and their last game will be October 16, against Hollidaysburg at Golden Tiger Stadium.
