The Bellwood-Antis cross country teams competed at the LHAC Championships Wednesday at the Maple Crest Golf Course in Portage and both teams had a great day with multiple people having season and all-time PRs.
The boys team placed 8th out of 15 and the girls placed 9th out of 16. The weather during the race was breezy, but was a perfect day for running
On the boys side, senior Bryce Hollenbach has been hitting his strides in the dog days of the season. He placed 29th overall with a time of 18:01. Seniors Martin Fatzinger and Cameron Gallagher both had great days, as well. Fatzinger ran a 18:16 and placed 39th while Gallagher placed 56th with a time of 18:50.
“Overall a great experience,” Gallagher said. “It was great and everyone had a great day with multiple PRs.”
