Chloe Stoltzfus has recently announced her commitment to run track at Lock Haven.
Chloe is a major contributor for the Bellwood-Antis girls track team. Last season she placed fourth place in the 300 hurdle, and sixth in the 100 hurdles at Districts. Those placings got her to states.
Chloe also was apart of the 4×100 team that went to states with a time of 51.12, a new school record. Chloe’s PR in the 300 hurdles is 47.87, and 16.9 for the 100 hurdles.
One of her goals is to break both Bellwood-Antis hurdle records, and she is about a second away from breaking both of them. In track a second is a lot, but with her experience and a year of growing, it is definitely possible.
“I fell in love with hurdles my freshmen year. Thanks to Coach K and Coach Shawley, that love turned into a passion,” Chloe said. “They have played a huge role in who I am today, and I can’t thank them enough. I am grateful that I get to continue my passion for hurdles on a collegiate level and cannot wait for this new experience!”
Lock Haven, located in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania, is a part of the Commonwealth University. In is an NCAA Division II school, in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC).
Chloe is planning to major in Athletic Training.
“I am very excited for this new experience,” Chloe stated. “I really liked what Lock Haven had to offer concerning my major. The coaches and staff were really nice, and the campus is beautiful. To be able to continue my track career is a blessing, I just can’t wait for all the new challenges and experiences that come.”
We wish Chloe the best of luck to her future plans and goals!
