Track teams continue to roll

Senior Selena Damiano continued to dominate in the field yesterday in a meet against West Branch and Tyrone.

The Bellwood-Antis girls track team won against Tyrone and West Branch yesterday at home, while the boys got a tie and a win.

Selena Damiano (shot put, discus), Alayna Roberts (100 and 300 hurdles), and Karson Swogger (100, 200) had two 1st place finishes apiece.

Freshman Alexis Gerwert placed first in pole vault.

The final score for the Lady Blue Devils against Tyrone was 86-63, and 102-47 victory over West Branch.

On the boy’s side of things, the Devils beat West Branch 121-29, but tied rival Tyrone at 75.

Matt McMillan was Bellwood’s only double-winner, capturing first place in the 110-meter and 300-meter hurdles.

Junior Nathan Davis placed 1st in the 200-meter dash, senior Kyler Lardieri finished first in the 400-meter dash, and sophomore Lucas Tuggy got first place in pole vault.

Both the boys and girls track team’s next meet will be tomorrow, April 11th, at United.
