The 14-6 Bellwood-Antis softball team opens the District 6-AAA playoffs today at Legion Park against 8-11 Hollidaysburg. The Blue Devils are playing up a classification but are still a strong contender for the title. The winner of this game advances to the championship.

Junior third baseman Edyn Convery shared three keys for a Blue Devil victory with the BluePrint.

1. Stay Focused

We can’t be too nervous, and we need to play like the best team.

2. Come in with hot bats

Getting an early lead will give us a cushion and calm our nerves.

3. Take advantage of every opportunity.

We need to be very aggressive with base running to get every base we can.
