First-year high schooler always remains positive

Nick Padula is enjoying his first year in the high school.

You may not see little Nick Padula around the halls, but you may see him outside of school with the cross country team.

Nick is the kid that is always fun to be around. On top of that he polite and well rounded. Nick has a positive attitude and can put a smile on your face at any time.

Mrs. Carney says: “Nick is nice, smart, and very respectful.”

Blueprint: Do you like ninth grade?

Nick: I’m enjoying ninth grade very much because of the teachers.

Blueprint: What is the biggest difference between high school and middle school?

Nick: The biggest difference is the extra transition time between classes.

Blueprint: What goals do you have for the next three years?

Nick: I want to earn good grades and be able to get into a good college.

Blueprint: What is your favorite class?

Nick: Mr. Goodman’s science class.

Blueprint: What is one thing you’d change next year?

Nick: My schedule so I can spend more time in the art room.

Blueprint: What is your favorite school lunch?

Nick: The high school’s pizza.

Blueprint: Who is your favorite teacher?

Nick: Mrs. Carney, my math teacher.

Blueprint: Did you get a good start to your year?

Nick: Yes, I got a great start to my year.

Blueprint: What do you want to be when you grow up?

Nick: I would want to have a career in the sciences.

Blueprint: How are you liking cross country? Would you recommend it?

Nick: I enjoy cross country very much and would recommend it for anyone who is willing to put in the effort.
