Taylor: I started playing in the Bellwood-Antis Youth Football League when I was 7. I played for the Southside Vikings.

Blueprint: What position do you play?

Taylor: Tight end and outside linebacker.

Blueprint: How do you feel about the rough start to this season?

Taylor: We had a lot of young guys getting their first varsity game action. It just took a little bit for us to build some chemistry together and get up to game speed.

Blueprint: How do you prepare to keep your season like last Friday – a win over a good team?

Taylor: We have a 5 game winning streak going. The attitude in the locker room has changed drastically. We have a lot of confidence right now and it’s important for us to build on that.

Taylor: Make sure your teammates can rely on you. Do your job every play and don’t take any plays off.

Blueprint: Do you plan to play football after high school?

Taylor: No, my future plans are to enlist in the United States Marine Corps.
