Last night the Bellwood-Antis girls’ volleyball team won on the road against Moshannon Valley in four sets, 25-16, 22-25, 25-16, 25-17. Abby Luensmann led the Blue Devils with 29 assists, 19 digs and four aces, while Sophie Damiano also added 13 kills.

The girls’ record has now improved to 11-4 with only three games remainining in the regular season.  Their last home game is Thursday when they host Mount Union on Senior Night.

The Tyrone/Bellwood-Antis boys’ soccer team also had a game last night against Bald Eagle at Alumni Stadium in Wingate. The game ended in a 1-1 tie after no one scored in either of the two overtime periods.

Noah D’Angelo scored the lone goal for the Golden Eagles, and he now has 21 on the season.

The boys’ next game is Thursday at Penns Valley in their final regular season game.
