Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Be kind. Always.

Slap on a smile and show your appreciation for World Kindness Day! Today is a day to show the world the kind and fuzzy side of you, even if it takes a lot of digging.

World Kindness Day is not a day for obscene gestures, rather it is a day for the little acts of kindness that brighten anybody’s day. It is also about paying it forward and showing kindness to all.

“It’s good to be kind so you can make others happy,” said Junior Sawyer Kline. “Sometimes one kind act can spread it to others.”

While there are the obvious ways to celebrate or get involved with World Kindness Day you can also get involved by sharing a kindness quote on social media, through email, or print.

You can also get your school involved by writing thank you letters, making a Random Act of Kindness (RAK) calendar, or showing custodian appreciation.
