Senior Jake Burch is well known during the fall for his football career.

Every season Burch has a new sport from football straight to basketball the jumping into track right after.

Burch averages 7 points per game, 2 assists, 4 rebounds, and 1 steal along with a block.

So far this season Jakes personal best game was home against Juniata Valley, scoring 24 points.

Tonight is senior night for the Blue Devils. The game starts at 7:30 and is home against the West Branch Warriors.

 

BluePrint: How did you get involved with basketball?

Burch: Ive been playing for as long as I can remember.

 

BluePrint: What position do you play?

Burch: Forward, guard, post- it all depends on our line up at the time.

 

BluePrint: What’s your favorite thing about the sport?

Burch: Its fast paced and completion is always a good thing.

 

BluePrint: How do you plan to improve from last season as an individual? As a team?

Burch: Work in the off season to get better.

 

BluePrint: What aspect of your game did you work on most in the off-season?

Burch: Getting to the hoop.

 

BluePrint: What’s your best achievement so far this year?

Burch: Getting to 16-2. We haven’t had many important games so the next few weeks are important.

 

BluePrint: What was the main cause of your win over the weekend?

Burch: Being more physical and well-rounded then the other team.

 

BluePrint: Do you think you’ll win against West Branch tonight?

Burch: If we play how we can, yes.

 

BluePrint: How do you predict the rest of your season will go?

Burch: I think we have a good shot at a district title.
