BAMS students really enjoyed receiving Flower Grams.

A few weeks ago the Student Council sold Flower Grams, a way to show someone how you feel about them through the color of a flower. Red means love, orange means crush, white means secret admirer, pink means like, and yellow means friend.

A total of 324 Flower Grams were passed out to 5th and 8th grade today during lunch periods.

According to the club’s adviser, Mr. Trexler, “This was a fun activity for students to show appreciation for their fellow classmates.”

Emily Kensinger, a sixth grader who received a Flower Gram said, “I felt wonderful when I got my flower.”

One of her classmates, Dailyn Hampton, said, “I was really happy!”

Because the event was so successful, there’s sure to be many Flower Grams sent to students again next year.
