Softball team dominates Williamsburg

Blue Devils regroup from loss to win by mercy rule

The Bellwood-Antis softball wins posted two wins last week with a win on Thursday night and a win on Saturday morning.

On Thursday, the Lady Devils spanked Williamsburg in five innings, 14-1.

Taylor Shildt homered en route to 4 total RBI’s.

Jestelynn Heaton added two hits and two RBI’s. Edyn Convery added 2 RBI’s as well.

Maddie Miller pitched a great game, striking out 5 and only allowing one run.

In the game Saturday morning, the Lady Devils scraped by Claysburg 11-8.

Freshman Jestelynn Heaton homered and drove in 3 runs to lead a balanced B-A attack.

Edyn Convery chipped in 3 RBI’s.

Maddie Miller and Krystina Taylor added 2 hits apiece.

Shildt earned the win, striking out 5.

The wins give B-A lots of momentum going into playoffs next week, as it looks to repeat as triple A district 6 champions.
