Memorial Day service scheduled for Sunday
Alto-Reste Park Cemetery and the Good Funeral Home, Inc. are holding a Memorial Day service on Sunday.

The Alto-Reste Park Cemetery and the Good Funeral Home, Inc. will hold a Memorial Day service Sunday, May 29 starting at 2 p.m.
The program will be held above the Veterans Garden of Honor.
The service is an opportunity to honor the men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our country, as well as those who are currently serving.
The event will feature two guest speakers: Dr. John McGinnis, State Representative from the 79th District, and Capt. Art Halverson, retired, United States Coast Guard.
Those attending will also have the opportunity to hear 30 caliber, 50 caliber and artillery pieces.
Anyone planning to attend are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket, or to use the seating under the big tent.
