Just Junior: Cassidy Shawley
This month’s Just Junior is Cassidy Shawley. You’ve probably noticed her spending most of her time in the AG room, showing up all the boys. Outside of school, Shawley is involved in Volleyball, Track and Field, FFA, Excelsior Fire Company, and she’s employed at Spring Mount Percherms.
Cassidy sees herself as an independent and hardworking pupil. Cassidy will never let you down when you trust her with something important. In her free time, she enjoys hunting, fishing, playing guitar, and hanging out with friends.
One of Shawley’s favorite class memories, is when Kermit got mad in ag shop and smashed is amplifier with a mallet and it started smoking.
“Cassidy has been my friend since day-care and she is a great friend to play with on the court,” said one of Shawley’s best friends, Jestelynn Heaton.
After High School, Cassidy wants to pursue a four-year degree in an ag related major and then go into the military.
“Mr. Webreck is my favorite teacher because I’ve learned many valuable life skills from his classes and he’s helped me become a better leader,” said Shawley.
