Bellwood-Antis scored 70 to top Tussey Mountain by a score of 70-53 in Saxton on Tuesday.

The Blue Devils led throughout the game and outscored Tussey Mountain in all of the quarters until the fourth, after B-A had already established a 25-point lead.

Trent Walker was accountable for just about half of the Blue Devils’ points with a career-high 34. He had an amazing shooting percentage of 81%. The senior knocked home six three-pointers, which also led the team.

This was a step in the right direction for Walker, who only had 12 points against Tyrone, and he should be looking to continue this form throughout the season.

Walker was followed in scoring by fellow senior Clay Engle, who had 16.

Tanner Worthing spread the ball around from his point guard position with 12 assists, and TJ Wyland continued to do the work on the glass, grabbing 11 boards.

Tussey Mountain had a 20-point scorer in Devin Swope, and he seemed to be the Titans bright spot in the game.

The Blue Devils will play again tonight against Claysburg-Kimmel in Claysburg at 7:00. The Bulldogs are 0-2 to start the season, with their losses coming against fellow ICC foes Southern Huntingdon and Mount Union.
