Trent Walker has gotten it together for this season, and there’s a chance for him to play at the college level.

In his last four games, the senior guard has scored 12, 34, 27, and 46 points for the Blue Devil basketball team.

Despite the Devils’ losing a strong group of seniors last season, Trent wants to win the ICC Championship this year and says “we will put up a good fight for district playoffs.”

Trent is on the verge of becoming B-A’s third thousand-point scorer in the last four seasons. He has 819 career points so far and has a 29.75 average points a game this season. He averages 4.5 rebounds a game and 1.3 assists per game.

Trent said he began to play at a young age at the Northern Blair Rec Center. He loves playing basketball because he can compete against other players and experience the fun of winning a game. He also competes on the varsity baseball team.

Trent has multiple Division III schools that want him to play for them, but he is still trying to decide if he wants to play in college or not. Trent has applied to about 6 schools already.

For now, he is focused on making the most of his senior season.

“I will definitely miss playing at Bellwood and will never forget the memories that have been made the last 4 years,” said Trent.
