Feature Teacher: Mrs. Wagner

Sixth grade teacher stresses the importance of being kind

Wyatt McKendree

Mrs. Wagner enjoys being a part of the sixth grade team.

Mrs. Wagner has been working at Bellwood-Antis for six years. She began her B-A career as the high school secretary and has been a sixth grade teacher ever since. One of her favorite subjects to teach is math.

Mrs. Wagner played basketball and volleyball and participated in track when she was in high school. These experiences when she was younger helped her to determine her future: To become a teacher. She achieved this goal by going to college at Slippery Rock University to earn her degree in teaching.

Mrs. Wagner enjoys working with students. One thing she does really well is to help them when they are having trouble understanding topics that are taught in class.

Mrs. Wagner’s favorite quote is “Be Kind No Matter What”. That would explain why she mentioned appreciating it when a student says “thank you” or something positive.

Mrs. Wagner is one of are favorite teachers so we hope that she will be teaching here for a long time!
