SPORTS ROUNDUP: VOLLEYBALL TEAM WINS AGAIN

The soccer team continued its struggle to score goals in a 3-0 loss to Hollidaysburg.

The girls volleyball team won again last night against Mo Valley on the road, earning the honors in three sets.

Their record improved to 5-1.

Sakeria Haralson had 9 kills, 7 blocks, and 2 points. Sydney lechner  had 17 assists and 9 points. Bella Kies had 5 points and 6 digs. Jestelynn Heaton had 7 aces and 17 points. Karlie Feathers had 11 points, and Hope Shook  had 9 points.

BOYS SOCCER LOSS

The Tyrone-Bellwood-Antis soccer team lost 3-0 to Hollidaysburg yesterday.

The first half ended scoreless, but Hollidayburg scored twice within 10 minutes in the second half.

Tyrone only had 4 shots on goal.

BELLWOOD, JV SPLIT

The Bellwood-Antis cross country teams split their meets against Juniata Valley yesterday in Alexandria.

Caden Poe and Nick Padula finished second and third as Bellwood’s top performers as the boys remained undefeated at 4-0. Danial Kustaborder also placed fourth among racers.

Jenna Bartlett finished first among the girls with a time of 22:41, but the Lady Devils lost for the first time this season.
