Freshman Loves Drawing and Gym the Best

Freshman Zach Salomie’s big interest is drawing, although last month he wowed the crowd at the Poetry Slam with his poem about electric eels.

The fab freshman for the month of May is  Zach Salomie.  Zach’s parents are Joe and Jill Salomie.

“Zach is friendly, hardworking, and enjoys sharing his interests with others. He is a pleasure to have in class,” Mr. Stewart said.

BluePrint: What’s the biggest difference between 9th grade and middle school?

Zach: The classes have changed and are different.

BluePrint: What class from freshman year will you never forget and why?

Zach: Gym, because it’s one of the only classes without paperwork.

BluePrint: What goals do you have for the next 3 years of your B-A experience?

Zach: To improve my drawing skills, master arts for art, and take more art classes.

BluePrint: What advice would you give 8th graders preparing to make the jump to high school?

Zach: Don’t judge people by their cover, get to know them.

BluePrint: What’s one thing you will do differently as a sophomore and why?

Zach: Drawing every single day, because it’s a stress relief.

Zach: Godzilla

Zach: Gym

Zach: Pizza

BluePrint: What is your favorite B-A lunch?

Zach: Pizza

BluePrint: What activities do you participate in, whether in school or out of school?

Zach: Martial arts, playing online games, drawing, and chorus.
