These 15-year-old twins while working a summer job at a coffee shop and at a library, and her brother Josh who works at the coffee shop across the street, they come across a strange looking man who is looking for a specific text, called the Codex, that will lead him to the infamous Elixir of Life that gives the drinker endless life, that neither of the teens know about. Add in the World Tree and an army of evil creatures, and you get all the excitement and action that will hook any reader. Anyone who likes a bit of running, some action, and tons of magic will enjoy this.

With the aura as a source of all the magic in this story and some amazing descriptive work done by Michael Scott, The Series of the Immortal: Nicolas Flamel is a great and hooking read that sucks you in. This is made for passionate readers who will give it a chance and dive into the lore of the story.
