Add in the World Tree and an army of evil creatures, and you get all the excitement and action that will hook any reader. Anyone who likes a bit of running, some action, and tons of magic will enjoy this.
With the aura as a source of all the magic in this story and some amazing descriptive work done by Michael Scott, The Series of the Immortal: Nicolas Flamel is a great and hooking read that sucks you in. This is made for passionate readers who will give it a chance and dive into the lore of the story.
